Nights 1 - 3 Haus Rosenhof, Ebensee

For your first three nights you will be staying at Haus Rosenhof, set in a peaceful location about a mile outside the village with hosts Angie and David Gilbert. Haus Rosenhof is a recently built guesthouse with traditional Austrian styling and the added benefit of modern facilities.

Ebensee is a small market town situated on the southern shores of Lake Traunsee in the famous Salzkammergut region.  Our cycling and hiking routes will take you through a variety of spectacular scenery, following lakeside paths to the towns of Gmunden and Bad Ischl. A beautiful forest track leading to Langbathsee, one of the prettiest lakes in Austria, with its stunning mountain backdrop it is often used as a setting for TV adverts and films.

After a day out exploring the area, return to Haus Rosenhof and relax with a glass of wine in our garden, surrounded by wonderful mountain views, before enjoying a hearty home cooked dinner.

Nights 4 - 6 Haus Hepi, Obertraun

Let us share our beautiful home with you in our corner of paradise.  Leave the pressures far behind and enjoy the quiet, slower pace of life in a rural village.  Our guesthouse is on the edge of the forest a few minutes walk to Lake Hallstatt, in a landscape naturally beautiful and preserved, allowing you to simply appreciate the nature.

Obertraun, UNESCO World Heritage area is located in the heart of the Salzkammergut, only 4km from the famous village of Hallstatt. Obertraun is a tranquil, unspoilt holiday destination, ideal for families to tour the cultural local area by bike or explore on foot the many enchanting paths leading along the lake, rivers and mountains.  A cable car ride from the village opens up a whole new world that is The Dachstein Mountain Range, offering glaciers, ice caves, panoramic viewpoints and the area is protected for its abundance of rare flora and fauna.

Nights 7 - 9 Gasthof Bergpanorama, Bad Mitterndorf

Gasthof Bergpanorama (literal meaning 'Mountain panorama') is ideally situated in the quaint village of Bad Mitterndorf. With its magnificent 360° panoramic view of the mountains and valley surrounding the village and the impressive view of the majestic 'Grimming' mountain, Gasthof Bergpanorama truly deserves its name!

There is simply no better way to end the day than sitting down to enjoy a freshly prepared meal accompanied by complimentary  fine wines and beers.
